We Are Ford City: A Video Premiere & Community Showcase – With Special Guest Jody Raffoul for a Live Acoustic Set

April 5th 2013 6pm @ Hiram Walker Wiser’s Reception Centre 2072 Riverside Drive East. Parking is free.

Tickets $5 in advance or $7 at the door. Doors open at 6pm, screening & concert at 7pm.

Your ticket covers the intimate Jody Raffoul performance, hot appetizers from Koolini’s and dessert from the Sunflower Organic Cafe. Cash bar will be available throughout the evening. A portion of admission ticket sales will go to the Ford City Redevelopment Committee for community renewal projects.

Join us as we celebrate Ford City with the premiere of the We Are Ford City short movie.  The film was shot in the Spring of 2012 in Ford City to capture the vibrancy and community spirit that endures in this historic neighbourhood. The film features the exclusive single HOME by internationally known, local talent, JODY RAFFOUL who will perform an intimate acoustic set at the event!

You will be able to browse dozens of tables with information on the Ford City community, its strengths, assets and current renewal projects, learn about new and established businesses and connect with Ford City community members.

Special presentations from the University of Windsor Digital Journalism students and Local Poet, Author, Publisher and Photographer Marty Gervais.
